"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 .

Born in Santa Maria, California – the Central Coast native grew up in a strong, Catholic household, with three brothers and two sisters. There was always an understanding of the importance of God and going to church but it wasn’t until Jackie was 14 years old that she would feel a fire stirring in her heart for the Lord. She had been singing her entire life although never felt a true calling for it. She was always so nervous when asked to sing for various events that she felt called away from pursuing music. Until one night at her junior high youth group she was asked to lead a song. “When the song began, it was as if the words just flowed from me. No nerves, no hesitation”, she recalls. At just 14 years old, she knew right then that God had a plan for her voice. A plan to sing for Him.

Her angelic and authentic sound comes from a place of wanting to sing solely for the Lord.  - “I’ve never had a desire to pursue music in the secular world. I’ve never wanted the attention. When I sing for the Lord, it’s not about me. I give it all to God and He does the rest.”

Over the years, God has slowly been shaping and molding her heart for His glory. It wasn’t until 2009 at the age of 20 that she would find herself leaving her small-town home and making the move to Orange County, CA. With no money or real plan thought out, she decided she would start working, take a few college courses and find a parish to call home. And just as God would have it, he brought her to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Placentia, CA where she would volunteer and eventually lead and become the Music Minister for the youth Mass for four years, not knowing that her friend and co-leader would be the man she would later marry and continue to serve God alongside with.

It is God’s faithfulness that has guided and led her every step of the way through her journey of ministry. Her passion for fostering and growing relationships with God in the lives of others is evident in her worship leading and song writing.

Jackie and her husband Tim have been blessed to travel the nation, leading and serving at different events for high school students and young adults. They currently live in Irvine, CA with their two-year-old daughter, Olivia. Jackie is the Music Director at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.
